Society for Happiness Delhi celebrated Independence Day with under privileged children in Pochanpur Village,Dwarka

The Society for Happiness is an NGO working since 2016 connecting with people and spreading smiles in all sections of society. As a part of Independence Day celebrations, the Society for Happiness organized a free medical camp for under privileged people on 14 th .August at its premises near Khatu Shyam Mandir in Pochanpur village. Dr.(Ms) Priyanka Shokeen Tomar a renowned paediatrician and child care specialist with clinic in sector22 Dwarka visited and did medical check up of children and ladies and advised the mothers about essential food and nutrition to be given to babies and children. Medicines for all patients were provided by Society for Happiness free of cost. Shri Mahesh from Prime Vision Sector 22 also visited for eye check up of residents patients from Pochanpur and agreed to provide spectacles to affected free of cost.

On 15 th .August the Independence Day was celebrated with great fanfare outside the Society for Happiness Office in Pochanpur. Shri A.P.Bhatt a great philanthropist and former Dy. Secy NCERT was the Chief Guest at the Function. After Flag Hoisting, the under privileged children from village presented a vibrant cultural programme with patriotic songs, dance and poem recitation. Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest Shri A.P.Bhatt emphasized on the children that they are the future of the country and they should pursue their dreams, with Determination, Desire, Hard Work ,Honesty and efficient Time Management. They should have self confidence and belief “I CAN” and “I WILL”. This was followed by some words of wisdom shared by Dr.Anil Sethi and Prize were distributed to following children who performed at the event: Soni, Poonam, Divyanshi, Senha, Shaloo, Gayatri, Asha, Ashoo, Neha, Neetu, Savitri, Shivani, Kajal, Sejal, Kajaal,

Dr.J.K.Mehta President of Society for Happiness thanked the guests and participants for sharing their knowledge and skills. He also expressed his thanks for the team from Society for Happiness viz. Ms.Deepti Agarwal, Komal Sehrawat, Ritika, and Neha for successful organization of celebrations. Sweets and Snacks were served to all participants and visitors. Meeting ended with a slogan given by Shri A.P.Bhatt and chanted by every one “ Majhab nahi sikhata apas mein bair rakhna-Hindi hain hum vatan hai Hindustan hamara- BHARAT MATA KI JAI- JAI HIND”
